Wallex - Cobalt Based Alloys

Wallex® is a Cobalt–Chromium-Tungsten formulation conferring  exceptional high temperature corrosion resistance and maintaining their hot hardness at elevated temperatures.

Wallex 3,4,6,12,20,21 and 31

Sometimes referred to as “Stellite®” this Cobalt – Chromium – Tungsten alloy system is produced in 3 standard grades which have applications for automotive, power generation and pumps and valves.

Wallex Self Fluxing Alloys

With additions of Boron and Silicon the Co-Cr-W family can be offered as a self fluxing grade.  Wallex 42 and Wallex 50 offer the benefits of Hot hardness and extreme resistance to corrosion and chemical attack in the form of a self fluxing alloy.
