Alloy Range
Wall Colmonoy offers three alloy systems; Nickel, Cobalt and Iron base which provide wear, corrosion and heat resistant coatings to critical engineering components which encompass a wide range of properties enabling a diverse number of applications to be satisfied.
These materials can be supplied in a variety of formats:
Our premium line of Colmonoy alloys contain chromium-boride crystals, a diamond-hard constituent harder than tungsten carbide. These unique ingredients make Colmonoy Nos. 4, 5 and 6 the ultimate in wear-resistance and the only alloys of their kind on the market.
Wallex alloys have exceptional high temperature corrosion resistance and maintain their hot hardness at elevated temperatures.
Colmonoy and Wallex rods are produced in diameters from 1/16 to 5/16 in.. They can be applied by oxyacetylene welding or GTA welding.
Precision Castings & Machined Components
For intricately shaped glass mould components subjected to severe, rapid wear, our alloys are also available as high quality castings. Our modern manufacturing facilities and quality control methods insure casting reliability and uniformity.
