Wall Colmonoy has dedicated over 50 years of service to the glass manufacturing industry, providing wear and resistant alloys, application equipment, engineering consultation and field assistance.The Colmonoy 200 Series, a range of Nickel-based surfacing powders containing special wetting agents which high bong strength deposits with virtually no over-spray adherence. The 200 Series alloys provide porosity-free low coefficient of friction finishes for producing high quality glass products. With over 15 different alloys in the 200 series, the customer is able to achieve hardness from 14 HRc to 38 HRc. An exceptionally versatile range of alloys, the 200 Series is used in the repair or protection of a comprehensive range of glass container mould equipment including; blow & blow plungers, press and blow plungers, press-ware plungers, narrow neck plungers, guide sleeves, neck rings, preform blanks, finish moulds, baffle, blow heads, bottom plates and funnels.
Special formulations for PTA welding include Colmonoy 215, Colmonoy 315, Colmonoy 33.
